About this course
Often described as one of the most challenging links tests on the Ayrshire coast. Founded in 1887, this club has had an illustrious history, having also been an Open Championship qualifying course. Often described as one of the most challenging links tests on the Ayrshire coast, this 27 hole course boasts large undulating greens, deep bunkers and doglegs typical of what Scottish links golf is about. Kilmarnock Barassie has a well deserved reputation for some of the best maintained greens in Scotland and will once again host Open Championship Final Qualifying for The 2009 Open at Turnberry.
