About this course
The 7th oldest golf club in the world. Our members and visitors have been enjoying some of the finest links golf in Scotland - many say the world - since 1786. Golfing legend Old Tom Morris laid out the Balcomie course in 1895 and in 1998 a second course, Craighead Links, was designed by Gil Hanse, whose outstanding work was recognised in 2009 with the Golf Course Architect of the Year Award.
