Here you will find a hidden gem … Bute Golf Club’s unique nine-hole Kingarth course which provides an opportunity to sample the very origins of the game. Golf has been played here for more than 120 years, making it the oldest course on the island. Players can enjoy the splendour of seaside golf in a spectacular setting with the dramatic backdrop of The Sleeping Warrior on the mountains of Arran. There are panoramic views across the Kilbrannan Sound to Kintyre in the west and to the Ayrshire coast in the east from this short, but tricky, course.
