BALMORE is widely acknowledged as one of the finest inland golf courses in the West of Scotland. Founded in 1907, the Vardon-designed course enjoys spectacular, uninterrupted views across majestic countryside yet lies just seven miles from the centre of Glasgow. It offers demanding but highly enjoyable golf to suit all standards of player. While maintaining the best traditions of the sport, we have a progressive outlook and offer a warm welcome to visitors. We take special pride in our course and in recent years have invested heavily in a major greens redevelopment programme, bringing all 18 up to USGA standard. Our 10-acre practice area is one of the largest and best in Scotland. Our clubhouse incorporates a comfortable and well-appointed lounge where you can relax and enjoy refreshments from the bar and first-class cuisine from the kitchen while looking out over the course from the large picture windows. The adjoining dining room is ideal for celebrations, private functions and corporate entertaining.
